Information we collect

We use analytics to understand how visitors use this site and to improve it. We use PostHog, a product analytics service, which processes this data for us on servers in the United States. Through PostHog we collect the pages you view and the page you came from, clicks and other interactions on the page (including clicks on affiliate links), your device, browser and operating system, your approximate location based on your IP address, page speed measurements, and technical errors. We also record sessions: a replay of how you move through and interact with the pages. Text you type into form fields is masked and not recorded.

Analytics requests are sent through howlpack.co before they reach PostHog. We do not ask you for your name or email address for analytics, and we do not sell this data or share it with third parties for their own marketing. It is used in aggregate to improve the site.

When you click a "View at" button we also note which product and bundle it was for, so we can see which recommendations are useful.

Hosting

Howlpack is served through Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and request details to deliver the site and keep it secure, and it may provide us with aggregate traffic statistics.

Affiliate links

Howlpack participates in affiliate marketing programs. Some links on this site are affiliate links — if you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Clicking an affiliate link will take you to a third-party retailer's site, which has its own privacy policy and terms.

Cookies and similar technologies

PostHog stores a randomly generated identifier and session details in a first-party cookie or in your browser's local storage so that we can recognize repeat visits without knowing who you are. You can delete these or block them through your browser settings or a content blocker. The site still works if you do.

Your choices

To ask what we have collected about you or to ask us to delete it, email support@howlpack.co. Because analytics data is anonymous, we may need details such as the approximate date and device you used to find it.
